The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court extended by five days the detention of the three suspects in the attack on Barak Abramov, the owner of Beitar Jerusalem who was the victim of an attempted robbery last night (Friday).

The owner of Beitar Jerusalem arrived at his home late at night, but three suspects, residents of the center of the country from Two 36-year-olds and one 30-year-old ambushed him and entered his house at gunpoint in an attempt to rob him of valuable items.

Abramov was handcuffed, attacked and injured, but a patrol team of the Lev Tel Aviv station who was nearby and was called to the scene, arrested the three suspects.

The investigation is still ongoing, but at today's hearing in court, the police representative confirmed: "This is a dangerous and unusual event, a traumatic event for the complainant. He was handcuffed, beaten and threatened. The threats were made with what appeared to be a gun. When the police arrived at the apartment, two of the suspects hid in the bedroom and locked him and one added in the bathroom"

The detention of the suspects was extended.

Abramov said in response after the robbery: "Last night I had a robbery at my house. I thank the Israel Police for their vigilance, quick treatment and management of the incident. I'm perfectly fine, get back on track and thank all those interested in my safety."

In various interviews he gave in the past, Abramov did not hide the fact that he has jewelry and valuable objects, as well as quite a bit of cash.

The attackers were aware of this and tried to get to the safe in the house of the owners of Beitar Jerusalem.
