Confirmed by the government: Kfir Suissa CEO of the Ministry of Culture and Sports | Israel Hayom

This morning the government approved the candidate for Minister of Culture and Sports Miki Zohar for the position.


Last week, the Civil Service Commission unanimously approved the candidacy of Kfir Suissa for the office's CEO, and this morning (Sunday) the appointment was officially approved at the cabinet meeting.

Suissa, 39 years old, from Kiryat Gat, married and father of two.

Since 2018, a member of the Kiryat Gat city council and serves as the chairman of the authority's audit committee.

Between the years 2014-2018 - he served as the CEO of Maccabi Kiryat Gat Basketball. Under his management, the team qualified for the Premier League and played in it for 2 seasons.

In November 2021, he was appointed to the KKL-Junk board of directors for the position and also serves as the chairman of the KKL-Junk Committee, with an annual budget of about NIS 1 billion.

As of November 21, he also serves as the CEO of Likud Global. Between the years 2020-2021 - he served as the chief of staff of the coalition chairman Miki Zohar.

In the past, he served as a member of the board of directors of the Super League in basketball.
