Captain, driver, goal scorer: Andreas Feuerecker (here is an archive photo) had numerous good actions yesterday in the game at EV Füssen.
The redeeming hit to 5:3 shortly before the end was particularly important.

The derby against EV Füssen was an extremely important game for EC Peiting. In the end, the ECP cheered - also because the captain aimed precisely just before the end.
Füssen – EV Füssen remains one of EC Peiting's favorite opponents this season: Coach Anton Saal's team won the Oberliga derby on Sunday evening 5:3.
It was the third win in the third duel with the Allgäu in the current season.
An important success for the people of Peiting (most recently with three defeats in a row), because they distanced themselves from the EVF, which had recently come close, in the fight for sixth place and the direct play-off participation.
"That was a big point today," said Saal after the game, looking satisfied and relieved.
The coach praised the team: "The boys all gave it their all."
EC Peiting wins Oberliga derby in Füssen
For what happened in the first third, the term "wild birds" is not an exaggeration.
36 seconds were played, then there was the first penalty - one against Peiting because of six players on the ice.
As a result, the referees followed a strict interpretation of the rules, which led to nine suspensions (4 x Peiting/ 5 x Füssen).
Lukas Gohlke received a five-minute penalty for a gang check.
Curious: During Gohlke's time in the penalty box, Peiting was in the majority for a long time because two players were out at Füssen.
Nine penalties in the first third
There was hardly any flow of play given the constant interruptions, but at least there were chances.
On the Peitinger side, Felix Brassard, Marc Besl and – in the final phase of the first period – twice Sam Payeur had good chances.
At Füssen, the Finn Janne Seppänen excelled on the offensive.
When Peitinger were twice the man down, keeper Konrad Fiedler showed a great reflex against Julian Straub (14th).
Otherwise, the guests allowed little in numerical inferiority.
"The manpower game worked very well," said Saal.
At the first break, the ECP was 1-0 ahead: On the power play, David Miller scored after a great pass from Besl (9th).
Tobias Beck scores an important 4:3 lead
Ice hockey was actually played in the middle period – and sometimes in a very respectable way. Seppänen, who was free due to an unfortunate ECP action, scored to make it 1-1 (23rd).
A little later, ECP captain Andreas Feuerecker failed after a good action (25th).
After that, the hosts used the only power play in the second period: Jere Helenius made it 2-1 (26th).
Peiting responded with a wonderful combination via David Diebolder and Thomas Heger, which Brassard completed to make it 2-2 (29th).
Füssen then had four huge chances within two minutes;
while Fiedler parried once extremely strong against farmer Neudecker.
Peiting reacted coolly: Manuel Bartsch scored the 3:2 lead with a well-considered shot.
(33rd).
The lead didn't last long.
After a two-to-one situation, Ondrej Zelenka made it 3:3 (36th).

At the beginning of the final period, Fiedler saved against Seppänen (43rd).
Immediately afterwards, Peiting's Tobias Beck brought the disc from the blue line in the direction of the goal;
the puck slipped through to make it 4:3 (44th).
A penalty against the ECP (47th) caused several dangerous moments in front of the goal.
First Fiedler cleared against Straub, then the puck hit the post.
As a result, the guests kept Füssen well away from their own goal.
The ECP was very lucky when Tobias Baader (55th) had a chance.
Füssen took the goalkeeper off the ice (58'), followed by Peiting's penalty.
At six against four, the puck hit the post of the ECP goal.
Four seconds before the end, Feuerecker hit the orphaned goal to make it 5:3.
