Hapoel Eilat announced today (Sunday) the signing of the Italian coach Maurizio Buscaglia, who will step into the shoes of Ariel Beit HaLhami who left his position three weeks ago as the team's new coach.
The 53-year-old Buscaglia is a senior coach with a rich resume in the best leagues in Europe and even won the title of coach of the season in the Italian league and the Eurocup when he coached Trento.
In addition, Buscaglia coached the Dutch national team and participated with them in EuroBasket 2022.
Last season Boscaglia signed with Hapoel Holon and this season he started with Napoli in Italy.
