„Erfrischend“ - Bommes-Ersatz Müller-Spirra nach Auftritt bei Handball-WM gefeiert

Munich - A successful match day for the German team - and also for a presenter who was allowed to present herself on the big stage for the first time.
Stephanie Müller-Spira replaced ARD presenter Alexander Bommes for the World Handball Championship and was therefore not available for the match against Serbia.
And just like the DHB boys, the journalist was in good shape – she received a lot of praise for her performance.

Thank you and keep up the good work,” it said in a comment on Instagram.
And in another: "Very strong performance with expertise, sympathy and wit ... Bravo".
The 39-year-old showed no sign of stage fright towards the DHB stars or national coach Alfred Gislason.

Refreshing,” said another Instagram comment.
And another said: "It was fun with you." So it goes on: "I'm thrilled with your great moderation," wrote a user on Twitter, for example.
Her outfit is also praised: "Where is this great blue shirt?"
And not only her moderation, but also her outfit was well received: "Hello Stephanie, thank you for your refreshing moderation.
Where's that awesome blue shirt?” wondered one Instagram user.
So the ARD can probably pat itself on the back for this choice of moderator.
Bommes had already failed at the World Cup in Qatar and was quoted in an ARD press release as saying: "After a year in which I, like many people, had to accept some health restrictions, I want to complete further recovery and I therefore consequently refrain from moderating this year's Handball World Championship."
While Müller-Spirra was well received, the performance of commentator Florian Naß was controversial.
Many fans celebrated his emotional approach, others found it too much - they even described him as a "pain".
