Where will the semifinals and finals of the basketball state cup be held?
A day after the basketball association announced its decision to move the games to Holon despite the initial plan to hold the finals week in Jerusalem, this evening (Tuesday) the Jerusalem municipality announced that many efforts have borne fruit and hence the battles for the title will be held as planned in the capital city.
The reason why the games will be held in Jerusalem in the end is a significant reduction in the price.
A week of semi-final and final stages of the State Cup, which is scheduled to be held on February 13 and 16 at the Arena in Jerusalem as mentioned above, will bring together Maccabi Tel Aviv against Irini Nes Ziona and Hapoel Jerusalem against Hapoel Haifa in the last stage four games.
The winners will of course meet in the final three days later.

"After the intervention of the municipality's management and the management of the Ariel company, the municipal company that manages and operates the hall, it was decided that the games will be held in Jerusalem," the Jerusalem municipality announced.
The Mayor of Jerusalem, Moshe Leon added: "The city of Jerusalem is prepared and happy to host world and national championships with great pride. The capital will also host the State Cup finals series in basketball this year. We continue to develop professional sports infrastructure and thus Jerusalem became the sports capital of Israel. Good luck to all the contestants ".
