LeBron James is making giant strides towards breaking Kareem Abdul-Jaber's record on the way to becoming the NBA's all-time leading scorer, and he's doing it in the most stylish way possible.
Tonight (between Monday and Tuesday) against the Houston Rockets, one of the weakest teams in the league, he scored 48 points, added 8 rebounds and also 9 assists.
At the age of 38, LeBron looks in great shape, when just 24 hours before he also starred against Philadelphia.
His 20 points in the last quarter make him the player who scored the most in the fourth quarter in the league this season, passing Jayson Tatum, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Luka Doncic.
During the game between the Lakers and the Rockets, Houston player Jabari Smith Jr. approached James and started a conversation with him: "You played against my dad in your first NBA game, how old does that make you feel?"

"He makes history in every game. To play like that at this age, it's amazing to see it up close," complimented Lakers coach Darwin Hamm.
"He's extraordinarily competitive, he's extraordinarily efficient, it's amazing to see that. He wants to win, and he's willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen - if you need to score 40 or 50, he'll do it. If you need him to hand out 15 assists, He will do it. Anything you need from him, he will do. We need to keep him, that it will never end."

James is only 316 points away from the top of the all-time scoring list, and at this rate, we will see the forward's coronation ceremony very soon.
