Garmisch-Partenkirchen - The "Gold-Rosi" is dead - and the hustle and bustle around Germany's most popular skier is slowly easing.
Exactly how she wanted it.
But as is the case with a death: there are still a few things to be arranged for the family.
Especially when the deceased is a celebrity like Rosi Mittermaier.

Rosi Mittermaier: The family is apparently considering a second funeral service
On the other hand, there is Rosi's wish for a funeral “without fanfare and big celebrations”.
The family is currently apparently considering whether a second funeral service would be emotionally manageable.
“You have to have twice the energy for a second memorial service.
That opens up two wounds,” says Wasmeier.
In times of mourning, this is of course an all the more difficult decision for widower Christian and children Felix and Ameli Neureuther.
"The burial is not a top priority.
The family wants to take their time.
The loss affects everyone brutally,” reveals Wasmeier.

Rosi Mittermaier is buried in the urn grave
"She will get an urn grave in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
That's where her life took place.
She clarified quite a lot in advance.” She also gave her son Felix Neureuther clear instructions: He should go back to his job as a ski expert as soon as possible.
"She said: 'Felix, go to Wengen and enjoy it,'" said the ex-racing driver on ARD.
No sooner said than done - and the fans celebrated his highly professional appearance on television.
