The drama between Shakira and Gerard Pique continues, with AS Madrid reporting that the Colombian star "spent time" with the former Barcelona star, who previously played with her estranged partner.

As you may remember, in June of last year the two famous couples revealed that after 11 years together, they separated, and since then a telenovela began, each episode of which made headlines all over the world.

After the affair had already fallen off the agenda, it recently returned again: Shakira released a new song that oozes sarcasm about her ex-partner and his new new partner, with phrases like "changing a Ferrari for a Twingo (small car), changing a Rolex for a Casio".

Pique himself took these lines literally, started wearing Casio watches and was even seen with a Twingo car - in an attempt to defy and mock the teasing.

Now, the latest twist in the case is making a new headline: Shakira was seen hosting a party at the couple's former home on Sunday night to celebrate the success of her song - and who was at the party was former Barca player Patrick Kluivert.

Remember, the Dutch striker played at the Nou Camp from 1998 to 2004, and helped it win La Liga in his first season at the club.

He never played alongside Pique but returned to the club a few years ago as technical director of La Masia, the club's famous academy.

It should be noted that Kluivert and his wife are known as friends of Shakira, no doubt due to the fact that they are both from Colombia.
