The bronze medalist from the team competition in Tokyo succumbed in the finals to Serafim Company, who captivated him after only 50 seconds.

The traditional judo festival for 2023 opened today (Wednesday) at the Ice Mall in front of Eilat, with the Israel Championship for female and male graduates, in which almost most of the senior athletes took part.

One of the most intriguing battles came in the finals up to 63 kg for women, where bronze medalist from the European Championships Gili Sharr met Inbal Shemesh. After a slow start and penalties a minute before the end of the fight, Shemesh got on the board with Vasari and won the title.

European champion Timna Nelson Levy (up to 57 kg) had no difficulty beating Mia Leopold, while Inbar Lanir (up to 78 kg) also achieved a quick pinning of Roni Gal, to win the title of Israeli champion.

Raz Hershko (over 78 kg), advanced as a favorite to the final against 17-year-old Yuli Michiner, when 1:43 to the end Hershko got an Ipon and got the gold.

In the absence of former world champion Sagi Muki, who will open his international season next week with the Grand Prix of Portugal, Ari Winkler took the title in the up to 81 kg category, who managed to surprise Ido Levin in the final.

Peter Pelchi, went up to compete in the finals over 100 kg, not in his usual weight category, when he was confronted by Serafim Kompanyetz who took advantage of the weight advantage and surprised him big time, who within 50 seconds managed to fascinate the bronze medalist from the World Championship in the team competition.
