Italian Super Cup: the coronation of Inter Milan

The Nerazzurri club outclassed its rival AC Milan (3-0) in Riyadh to claim a first title this season.

At Inter the derby.

In Riyadh, Inter Milan won their second consecutive Italian Supercup after easily beating their neighbour, AC Milan (0-2).

This "Madonnina" derby chose its camp well as Simone Inzaghi's men were able to take this meeting by the right end and the Rossoneri confirmed their current difficulties (only 1 success in their 5 matches since the return from the World Cup).

More conquering in the duels from the first minutes, the Nerazzuri were indeed quickly dominating around an extremely dangerous Dzeko from the start.

It was the Bosnian who made the decisive gesture in the action of the first internal goal with a mischievous deflection for Barella, ideally placed to offer the goal ball to Dimarco (0-1, 10th).

Still a distributor for Lautaro, picked up in the area (14th), the Bosnian striker himself scored his team's second goal after literally mystifying Tonali (0-2, 21st).

Lautaro's jewel to drive the point home

Stunned, AC Milan will take time to get up, Tatarusanu, replacing Maignan, having to work in his cage (28th, 30th).

Only a breakthrough from Tonali (42nd) will wake up the Rossoneri a little, a little sharper from the start by putting more impact.

But two vain attempts from Leao (49th, 67th) were not enough to hide the limits of Giroud's partners.

Worse, they will concede a 3rd goal on a personal achievement by Lautaro Martinez (0-3, 77th).

Inter wins its 7th Italian Super Cup and joins its opponent and evening rival on the list.
