Arsenal is indeed in a great period professionally, but in recent days the English luxury club is also busy with not so happy things.
The Gunners issued a statement that they would investigate "two disturbing incidents" involving fans during Sunday's 2-0 win over city rivals Tottenham.
Mikel Arteta's side opened up an eight-point lead at the top of the Premier League table thanks to a Hugo Lloris own goal and Martin Odegaard strike.
However, the club condemned anti-Semitic behavior by some fans during the victory and said anyone caught would receive a lengthy ban and their details would be passed on to the police.
"We have become aware of two disturbing incidents over the weekend involving anti-Semitism which are currently under investigation," Arsenal announced, "There was one incident where one of our fans heard highly offensive anti-Semitic remarks from another fan. Also, that afternoon, we were horrified to hear of an incident at the Cali pub in Islington , in which other anti-Semitic chants were involved"
A statement from the English Premier League also stated: "We recognize the impact this behavior has on our many Jewish supporters and others and condemn the use of this type of language, which has no place in the game or in our society. Arsenal must be a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, and we want to be clear This type of discriminatory abuse is not welcome in our club. We will not stand by this type of behavior in silence and will take harsh actions. Anyone who is identified will receive a prolonged suspension and their details will be forwarded to the police to initiate legal proceedings."
