British double Olympic champion Andy Murray stays in the tournament thanks to a terrific comeback at the Australian Open.

After his spectacular five-set win over Matteo Berrettini in round one, the three-time Grand Slam winner also won his next marathon match.

After almost six hours, the 35-year-old converted the first match point at 4:06 a.m. local time to 4: 6, 6: 7 (4: 7), 7: 6 (7: 5), 6: 3 and 7: 5 against the Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis.

In round three Murray meets Roberto Bautista Agut from Spain.

Jabeur is already outside

Ons Jabeur, second in the world rankings, was eliminated in the second round.

The Tunisian, who had reached the finals in Wimbledon and at the US Open last year, was beaten by the Czech Marketa Vondrousova 1: 6, 7: 5, 1: 6 in the night session.

Jabeur, seeded number two, made a total of 50 unforced errors in the playing time of 1:42 hours.

Vondrousova meets her compatriot Linda Fruhvirtova in the third round.
