The president of the French Football Federation remains in the background pending the final report of the audit carried out by the ministry

No change and therefore resignation this Thursday for Christmas Le Graët.

The Executive Committee of the French Football Federation (FFF) has chosen … to choose nothing.

The president therefore remains in the background pending the final report of the audit commissioned by the Ministry of Sports, expected in mid-February.

“We remain on the status quo of the Comex of last Thursday”, explained to AFP Eric Borghini, president of the Federal Commission of Arbitrators.

This Comex had decided to induct Philippe Diallo as interim president pending the conclusions of the audit.

Noël Le Graët, for his part currently on vacation in Martinique, did not participate in the meeting, held by video.

The Comex “awaits the interim ministerial report, submitted in principle on January 30.

After a period of ten days opens to collect the observations of Noël and Florence (Hardouin, general manager of the FFF, laid off last week).

We too, at the Comex, have asked to make observations.

Around February 9, the amended report will be submitted to the auditors of the General Inspectorate for Education, Sport and Research (IGESR), who will then be able to write the final report, which will be the official and contradictory document of the Ministry of Sports, which carries out an audit of the operation of the FFF.

"The Comex will meet a few days later to devote itself entirely to the consequences of the audit, which takes us around mid-February," said Borghini, also president of the Mediterranean League.

Le Graët under investigation for moral and sexual harassment

This meeting of the "government" of the FFF took place three days after the opening by the Paris prosecutor's office of an investigation for moral and sexual harassment against the president of the FFF, following the report made by the auditors of the IGESR charged by the ministry with clarifying the dysfunctions within the body.

Le Graët, 81, in office since 2011, is weakened by numerous controversies and little phrases as well as supposed sexist behavior towards former employees.

The former socialist mayor of Guingamp was forced to step back last week during an extraordinary Comex convened just after sweeping statements about French football icon Zinedine Zidane.

The boss of French football denied the accusations, attacking, in a press release sent to AFP on Tuesday, the leaks organized "through the press" and castigating an "administrative investigation, obviously in charge", for which he does not did not have “the opportunity to present his observations in defence”.

He also criticized the government's "interference and political pressure".
