Summary: Maccabi Haifa - Hapoel Jerusalem 1:2 (Sport1)
Maccabi Haifa will have to contact Hapoel Jerusalem regarding the enhancement fee for Goni Naor, even though the player is out of contract at the end of the current season.
As you know, with the news of Neta Lavi's departure in Olofa, they marked two main candidates - Naor and Aden Kartsev.
At this point in Haifa, neither Maccabi Netanya nor Hapoel Jerusalem have officially approached either Maccabi Netanya or Hapoel Jerusalem in an attempt to add one of the contacts, but it is estimated that the Greens, who are not satisfied with any of the options, would prefer to add Naor, whose contract expires at the end of the season, and not enter into the complex deal of Kartsev, especially since they have already loaned him Maor Levy and Nahorai will be promoted to teams from the National League.
As I remember, in Netanya they marked the two as those who could arrive in a swap deal, and even inquired about Levy regardless of Kartsev.
Lavi is expected to leave after the match against Maccabi Tel Aviv and now in Haifa they will increase efforts to find a replacement, when Naor, as mentioned, is the realistic option.
Another option that came up is the addition of Biram Kiel, but the professional line of Gal Alberman and the system is not to add players near retirement age, so this option seems less likely.
In Haifa they may decide to keep Aviel Zargari in the squad and try to close Naor for the next season, and while the Jerusalemites are ready for such an option, they will make it clear to the Greens that in that case they will have to reach an agreement with them on the improvement fee or contact an arbitration institution that will determine the amount of the improvement fee.
Either way, the champion will have to compensate the team from the capital with some amount.
Officials privy to the details did not rule out the possibility that if Haifa immediately contacted Hapoel Jerusalem, the option of a trade that would include Zargari would arise.

In Haifa, preparations continue for the season's game against Maccabi Tel Aviv on Monday, when a win will increase the gap at the top to 11 points and give the Greens a huge advance in the championship fight.
Daniel Sondgren who played as a substitute in the last game may start if he feels he is fit enough to complete a significant amount of minutes.
Levi may also start in the lineup.
