French Caroline Garcia and Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka qualified for the eighth round of the Australian Open tennis tournament.
Garcia qualified for the tournament's final eight after defeating Germany's Laura Siegemund, with two sets to one, 1-6, 6-3, 6-3, while Sabalenka qualified after defeating Belgium's Elise Mertens, 6-2, 6-3.
In the next round, Garcia will face the winner of the confrontation between Poland's Magda Linette and Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova, while Sabalenka will face Swiss Belinda Bencic.
