A step up in the talks: the representatives of the clubs discussed the possibility of moving the young midfielder north as a replacement for Neta Lavi. At this point there is no agreement between the parties

Summary: Maccabi Haifa - Hapoel Jerusalem 1:2 (Sport1)

A step up in talks to transfer Goni Naor to Maccabi Haifa: The club's leaders held a first meeting today (Sunday) with Hapoel Jerusalem personnel regarding the young midfielder.

As I remember, Haifa is interested in Naor due to the expected departure of Netta Lavi to the Japanese Gamba Osaka, which will be completed after the season game tomorrow.

Until today there were only inquiries between Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Jerusalem, but today they raised a level in Haifa and met with the people of Hapoel Jerusalem.

At the meeting, the parties talked about the desire for a deal, but at this stage there is still no conclusion.

Additional meetings, probably also with the actor himself, will be held in the coming days.

Naor was interviewed yesterday at the end of the game against Hapoel Tel Aviv and when asked if this was his last appearance in the team, he replied: "I don't think this is my last game in Hapoel Jerusalem, I'm concentrating on what depends on me. If there is a good offer and both clubs agree, that's something else."

Yesterday we also published that, in parallel with the interest from Maccabi Haifa, Naor is a candidate for the Turkish Guztapa.
