Belarusian player Arina Sabalenka advanced to the quarter-finals of the Australian Open tennis tournament, after defeating Swiss Belinda Bencic.
Sabalenka was able to decide the outcome of the match in her favour, and defeated her opponent, the gold medalist at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, with two sets without a response, 7/5 and 6/2.
Sabalenka will face Croatian Donna Vekic in the next round, who defeated Czech Linda Frovertova 6-2, 1-6, 6-3.
