The Sacramento Kings are one of the most fun teams to watch in the NBA this year.

After long drought years, without the playoffs, the Kings are finally playing great basketball and seem to be on the safe way to the top eight in the Western Conference this season.

Tonight, they met another team that is having a great season, the Memphis Grizzlies, but left them in the dust en route to a convincing 100:133 victory.

In the first quarter of the game, the Kings equaled an amazing record in the best league in the world, when they scored 12 three-pointers.

Sacramento hit 10 times without a single foul from outside the arc, 3 1/2 minutes to the end of the first quarter, then scored twice more, and finished the quarter with 47 points.

The madness continued until the end of the game, with the team from California hitting 22 3-pointers from 40 attempts and running over the hapless Memphis.

Before the game, the Kings were seventh in the league in three-pointers per game at 36.8, and 10th in field goal percentage at 36.7.

They have seven different players averaging at least three three-pointers a game, and only two of them are shooting under 34 percent.

Kevin Harter, who is in the midst of a breakout season, leads the pack at 41.4 percent, just ahead of rookie Keegan Murray who is shooting at 41.3 percent.
