A huge miss for Hapoel Holon in the opening of the Top 16 of the Champions Cup.
The Israeli team that reached the Final Four last season lost tonight (Tuesday) in France against Strasbourg 110:112 after two overtimes.
The game was already twice in the hands of the Purples - once towards the end of the 40 minutes, and once again in the second overtime.
But it wasn't enough!
Holon led 39:48 towards the end of the first half.
Here DeAndre Lansdowne arrived and led the French up to 61:69 towards the end of the third quarter.
Holon was not pressured and ran to 0:14 to -69:75 and from there continued to 77:88, two and a half minutes to the end.

It is not over.
A controversial unsportsmanlike foul by Marvin Jones helped the French come back and then in the last attack with a lead of 3, Holon did not commit a foul and Marcus Cain scored a three-pointer and forced the first overtime 88:88.
In the first overtime, the last ball was Holon's but CJ Harris missed.
In the second overtime, Holon again seemed to be on the way to victory with a significant 7-point lead, but then came the suspension of Harris due to a second unsportsmanlike foul - and the visitors, with bad decision-making, lost to a Lansdowne basket, with a second and a half to go.
27 points by Ragland and 23 by Harris, this time did not help Holon.
