Bnei Rayna striker Lazar Yovanovich filed a complaint with the Israel Police this evening (Tuesday) against the team's owner, Said Basul, claiming that he threatened and assaulted him.
"He didn't pay me for several months," Jovanovich claimed, "I asked for what I deserved and that we would agree on a release. So he threatened me that people would come and that he had power. I've never had anything like this happen in football. He said they would hurt me, everything was filmed in the stadium, So you can check everything."
The striker added in an extraordinary testimony: "I asked to return to Serbia, so he told me to leave his apartment. Where should I go? That he would sign what was necessary, that he would give me what I deserved. I was afraid of him, so I filed a complaint with the police."
On the other hand, Basol claims that Jovanovich's claims are not true and never happened.
Jovanovich clarified that everything was filmed and the evidence is in the hands of the police, who are investigating the case.
In the next day Sol is expected to come to testify in light of the Serbian striker's complaint.
