The wife and daughter of the Bosnian international player (51 selections) were present, during the facts, in the family house located in Cassis (Bouches-du-RhĂ´ne).
"His family is quite marked," one of the sources told AFP.
No indication has yet been given of the items stolen, the amount of damage or whether the burglars were armed.
Burglaries targeting footballers while they are playing are relatively common.
On January 18, two men were thus convicted for the burglary of Marquinhos, the Brazilian international defender of Paris SG, in March 2021. They received seven and five year prison sentences respectively.
In 2021, 22 professional players were victims of these thefts in France, according to the Information, Intelligence and Strategic Analysis Service on Organized Crime (Sirasco).
They were 13 in 2020. In the press alone, 18 facts were revealed in 2022.
Kolasinac, alias "the tank" or "Kola", 29, joined OM in January 2022 from English club Arsenal.
Already author of three goals this season, the Bosnian international has now won a place as a quasi holder in the eleven of Igor Tudor.
