For years to come, NBA fans will argue among themselves who is the greatest player of the best league in the world.
There will never be an unequivocal answer, but tonight LeBron James added a very strong argument that he is one of the names being debated.
The Los Angeles Lakers star was not able to prevent tonight's loss to the Clippers (133:115), although he excelled and scored 46 points (including 9 three-pointers, a personal record), but on a personal level he reached a point in his career that no one had reached before him.
King James, thanks to those 46 points, tonight became the first player in NBA history to score at least 40 points in at least one game against each of the 30 best league teams in the world.

He can now afford to look at the two phenomena, Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, and say to himself - although he will surely bother to tell everyone - I did something that these two did not do.
LeBron James will soon become the greatest scorer in NBA history, after the 46 points he scored tonight put him only 177 points away from the record, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, who has held the record since 1989.
