The last game day in the state league did not go well for the cone teams from the district: Eberfing lost to a promoted team, Seeshaupt lost away.

The last game day in the state league did not go well for the cone teams from the district: Eberfing lost to a promoted team, Seeshaupt lost away.

District - Again there was nothing to get for the district bowlers in the Landesliga Süd.

SKC Gut Holz Eberfing lost at home to a strong promoted FV Gerlenhofen and fell back to seventh place.

FC Seeshaupt lost at SSV Bobingen II and remains penultimate.

Gut Holz Eberfing loses against newly promoted FV Gerlenhofen

It's not as if the boar fingers had completely forgotten how to bowl.

An overall result of 3307 wood is quite impressive in the state league.

However, says Gut-Holz player Andreas Gattinger, "our opponents are a bit stronger at the moment".

FV Gerlenhofen came up with 3373 wood on the Eberfinger facility and thus bagged the two extra points that gave the promoted team a 6-2 win.

The guests themselves said after the game that they simply had a run, reported Gattinger.

He is currently seeing a certain shortcoming in his team: "The top performers don't get their chance." The results are good overall, "but that's still not enough," says Gattinger.

Striking in this game: Eberfing was better than the opponent when it came to clearing (1108:1086), the hosts completely lost their wood during the game (2199:2287).

In the starting pairings, Gattinger (549 wood/0.5:3.5 sets) and Eric Kühberger (526/0:4) lost their duels.

They lost 82 wood to the compact playing guests, Mansour Archengee (576) and Jörg Klose (581).

In the middle pairings, Hubert Resch (544/1:3) went away empty-handed against Denis Hinke (585).

Tobias Zahler (577/3:1), who clearly distanced Martin Bühler (556), especially in sets three and four, offered a strong performance.

In the final pairings, Gerlenhofen's Jan Ritlewski (497) offered the chance to counterattack.

Alois Kriesmair (557/4:0) won clearly, but remained well below his previous home average.

Markus Lindner (554/1:3) also scored less than usual when he appeared at the “Zur Post” inn.

He even had to give up his team point against Marcelo Silva Lameira (578).

FC Seeshaupt remains without a point on foreign tracks

In the first match, the sports bowlers of FC Seeshaupt narrowly defeated SSV Bobingen II 5:3 due to a lead of three woods.

In the rematch on a foreign track, the promoted team lost 6-2 (3187:3244 wood).

So far, Seeshaupt has not gained a point away from home.

When it came to the final pairings, "the result was still completely open," says a statement.

With a score of 2:2 (on team points), FC had a lead of just three woods.

But the Seeshaupters were soon behind because Manuel Arndt started furiously with 160 wood.

The Bobinger also kept Alexander Wassermann (504/1:3) at a distance and took 57 wood from the FC player in addition to the team point.

Once again, Thomas Lackinger (530) just missed a team point.

He was four wood short against Florian Gilg (533) who had the same set.

But even Lackinger's victory wouldn't have changed anything about the defeat.

In the starting pairings, Pascal Schouten (562/3:1) was successful for the Seeshaupters.

He took 63 wood from Bobinger Matthias Arnold.

Meanwhile, Leonhard Werner (524/1:3) had to acknowledge the superiority of Jonathan Huber (560).

In the middle pairings, the higher numbers of wood decided, because all players had won two sets each.

Daniel Hey (540) had the upper hand over Daniel Seidl (528).

Hey's 161 wood (57 cleared) in the second set was the day's highest set result.

Edgar Schouten (527), on the other hand, clearly lost out to Bernd Herrmann (563).
