In January 2017, Maccabi Tel Aviv fired Shota Arbaldza and Jordi Cruyff stepped down from the podium until the appointment of Lito Vidigal.

He has two wins, four draws and 13 losses against him.
2 - 4 - 13. The goal difference in these 19 games is 38:12.
In addition, he was eliminated by the Yellows from the State Cup twice in the round of 16, once with Hapoel Ra'anana and the second time with Hapoel Haifa.
In fact, Maccabi Tel Aviv is the team against which Silves has his worst record as a coach.
