If Noël Le Graët has “
nothing to shake
”, the future of Zinédine Zidane interests a lot of people.
The Athletic
is looking into the question, now that the possibility of seeing "Zizou" take the reins of the Blues has gone with the extension of Didier Deschamps until 2026. In recent months, his name has largely returned to PSG, which l would have asked at the end of the past season to succeed Mauricio Pochettino.
More recently, we talked about him at the head of a selection (Brazil, USA).
Quoting a member of the 98 world champion's entourage, but not a member of his inner circle, the American site actually only sees three possibilities, while waiting for the French team: a third stint at the head of Real Madrid (after 2016-18 and 2019-21), Juventus (where he played from 1996 to 2001) and… Olympique de Marseille, the club of his hometown.
On the subject of OM,
The Athletic
specifies that the club would still have to come back to the fore at the international level in order to have a chance to put the grab on Zidane, free since his departure from Real, at the end of the 2020-21 season.
In the meantime, Carlo Ancelotti (Real), Max Allegri (Juve) and Igor Tudor (OM) know what to expect.
