Maxi, Embiid and Harden helped the Sixers 133:137 over the Nets • A huge game by the star of the Blazers in 124:134 over Utah • Milwaukee did not have a hard time against the missing Denver • The Lakers recovered from the loss in the derby at the expense of San Antonio

Philadelphia (16:31) - Brooklyn (18:29) 133:137.

In one of the best games of the regular season, the Sixers had the upper hand, despite a tremendous comeback by the Nets.

The title of the game, above all, was the first meeting between Joel Embiid, the undisputed star of Philadelphia, with the team's ex, Ben Simmons, who left in harsh tones and followed as Saha with everything that moves in Philly.

In the matchup between them, Embiid did not count Simmons, scored 26 points and pulled down 10 rebounds, while the player on the losing side settled for 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.

Tyrese Maxey led Philly with 27 points, and James Harden, who added 23 points of his own, was there to stop the Nets, who erased a 17-point deficit, with 8 critical points in the closing minutes.

Seth Curry with 32 points (season record) and Kyrie Irving with 30 points and 10 assists, did everything to come out victorious, but it just wasn't enough.

Portland (25:23) - Utah (26:25) 124:134.

On paper it was a marginal game, between the two disappointing teams from the West, but one player, one superstar, managed to attract the spotlight.

It was Damian Lillard's crazy night, who in one of the biggest games of his career, scored no less than 60 points, including nine three-pointers, and was unstoppable.

In 40 minutes on the court, he also added 8 assists, 7 rebounds and 3 steals, turning his phenomenal performance into a ticket to the Hall of Fame.

LA Lakers (26:23) - San Antonio (34:14) 104:113.

What does a bruised team like the Lakers need more than a weak opponent to recover from their 10th straight derby loss?

Nothing.

Although the Spurs were not a carpet to step on on the way to victory, and actually made it difficult for the opponent until the last quarter, but then the differences in abilities became apparent and the story ended.

Anthony Davis led the Lakers scorers with 21 points (12 rebounds), with LeBron James adding 20 of his own, handing out 11 assists and pulling down 9 rebounds - what a triple double miss.

Milwaukee (17:31) - Denver (15:34) 99:107.

The Nuggets had no chance to take this game, because instead of on the floor, the big names - Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. - were sitting in the stands injured.

Giannis Antetokounmpo said thank you, took over the game with 33 points and 14 rebounds, and the Bucks cruised to an easy victory, despite a heroic comeback attempt by the opponent.

Aaron Gordon with 26 points and 14 rebounds led the Nuggets.

Golden State (24:24) - Memphis (17:31) 120:122.

It was a fascinating and close game until the end, when Jordan Paul scored the winning basket for the Warriors in the last second.

Steph Curry led the champions with 34 points, Klay Thompson added 24 of his own, and Paul was an integral part of the top scorers with 21 points (7 assists).

For the Grizzlies, who are in a downward trend, Ja Morant scored 29 points along with 13 assists, but even 20 points from Desmond Bain did not prevent another loss

The other results:

Oklahoma City - Atlanta 137:132, New Orleans - Minnesota 111:102, Sacramento - Toronto 113:95, Orlando - Indiana 120:126.
