Kazakhstan's Elena Rybakina reached the Australian Open tennis final for the first time in her history, after defeating Belarusian Victoria Azarenka.
Last year's Wimbledon champion, Rybakina, won the match in her favour, defeating Azarenka with two straight sets, 7-6, 6-3.
Rybakina will face in the final match of the first of the four major “Grand Slam” tournaments this year, the winner of the meeting between Belarusian Arina Sabalenka and Poland’s Magda Linette, who will play later today.
