Luck will have the last word... You still have to provoke it.
Opened on December 1, the registration platform for the draw to buy batches of tickets, or "
tailor-made packs
" for the Olympic Games closes this Tuesday, January 31 at 6 p.m.
The draw will take place from February 1 to 13 and will provide “purchase slots” for the majority of events, with the exception of tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies.
These can only be purchased during the second draw for individual tickets, in April.
A year and a half before the opening of the Paris Olympics, on July 26, 2024,
Le Figaro
explains what you need to know to get the precious sesame, before it's too late.
Step 1: registration for the draw
The first step is to register for the draw.
Go to the ticketing site before January 31 at 6 p.m. and create an account by entering an email address.
Registration only takes three minutes, bank details are not required.
Once registered, all you have to do is cross your fingers.
Whether you registered on December 1 or January 31, you have the same chance of being selected.
The site also offers the possibility of registering in advance for the draw of individual tickets, on the condition of registering for the packs.

Step 2: random selection of registrants
The draw for the "
tailor-made packs
" will take place at the beginning of February.
The lucky winners will then receive an email between February 13 and March 15, two days before a 48-hour purchase window.
In other words, you have to be reactive.
The members of the "
Club Paris 2024
" (platform which allows participants to participate in events in the run-up to the Olympic Games) drawn by lot will benefit from priority access to the sale of "
tailor-made packs
" for 4 days, from February 15 to February 19.
Then, access will be open to all selected.

The first to be drawn - that is to say benefiting from the first purchase slots - will have the "
king's choice
" among the 329 events, themselves divided into 762 "sessions" (several events from one discipline to given date and time).
The competition is fierce: "
We have exceeded 2.5 million registrants
", indicated COJO President Tony Estanguet during a press conference on Wednesday.
Step 3: access to a buying window
Each user will therefore have 48 hours to validate their choice of "
tailor-made packs
", consisting of 3 sessions.
Some sessions will not yet be on sale, including tickets for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.
It is specified on the site that you can only buy a maximum of:
6 tickets per session
18 tickets per “
tailor-made pack
”
30 tickets per person
In total, 10 million tickets will be on sale for the Paris Olympics, including one million at 24 euros, for all Olympic sports.
The entry price for a “
tailor-made pack
” of 3 sessions is therefore 72 euros.
Any resale outside the official platform is prohibited.
