The NBA revealed tonight (between Thursday and Friday) the players chosen for the five All-Star game, which will be held this year on February 19 in Salt Lake City.
The top five were determined by fan votes (which accounted for 50 percent of the votes), NBA players and a panel of media.
As in the last six years since the new format was introduced, LeBron James will serve as captain, and will choose the players who will join him on the bench in the West.
James will appear in the All-Star Game for the 19th time in his career, tying Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's all-time record.
Steph Curry, Luka Doncic, the MVP Nikola Jokic and also Zaion Williamson, who is considered the surprising choice in the top five, will appear along with him in the top five.

The New Orleans forward appeared in just 29 games this season, yet earned the spot.
Either way, it is unclear if Zaion will be able to take part in the game as he is suffering from an injury.
If he misses the traditional game, Anthony Davis, Ja Morant or Domantas Sabonis who remained outside the five, may get a call.
The Eastern team will be led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was chosen alongside Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, Jayson Tatum and Donovan Mitchell.
The surprising absentee here is Joel Embiid, the Philadelphia star, who was pushed out and will only come off the bench.
The decision between Embiid and Tatum was made mainly thanks to the votes of the fans, who leaned in favor of the Boston star.
The East Five: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kyrie Irving, Donovan Mitchell, Kevin Durant and Jayson Tatum.
The top five of the West: LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Luka Doncic, Zaion Williamson, Nikola Jokic.
