A story you won't hear every day.
The life of the 30-year-old football player Jordi Amat, who previously played for Espanyol, Rayo Vallecano and Real Betis from the Spanish league, has changed from one end to the other.
Amat became the prince of Seo Island in Indonesia, and now the official announcement ceremony is being prepared in the Muslim country.
The title came through his Indonesian grandmother, who lives in the Netherlands.
His great-grandfather was also a rajah (local prince) of the island of Siau.

Amat who was born in Cant de Mar (Spain) in 1992, .
He was previously part of the Spain under-21 team. A few months ago, he managed to become Indonesian, which allowed him to play with the country's national team and become a prince.
"It won't change my life much," says Amat, who became one of the seventy rajas of Indonesia, and will meet once a year with the president of the Republic of Indonesia. The footballer also clarifies that his title: "is not at the level of what we know as a prince, and that he is not a bar Comparison with that of the kings of Spain".
