Riots and unfortunate events took place not only in the stands in the Tel Aviv derby this evening (Saturday), but also between the Hapoel and Maccabi players, when during the halftime break there was an ugly confrontation between Itzik Nisanov and Eran Zahavi.
Maccabi Tel Aviv claim that while Zahabi was on his way to the dressing room, Nisanov, one of the owners of Hapoel Tel Aviv, attacked him shouting "Ya Eps".
Yellow Club spokesman Ofer Ronan, who witnessed the event, approached Nisanov and asked "What do you want from Eran?".
In response, according to Maccabi, Nisanov spat on Ronan and all this in front of the eyes of the fourth referee in the match, Aviad Shiloh.
The latter confirmed to the speaker that he noticed what was happening.

Hapoel Tel Aviv gave an official statement in response: "At halftime of the game, a verbal confrontation took place between the owner Itzik Nisanov and Eran Zahavi. Nisanov turned to Eran and asked why he doesn't return the ball after a foul. In response, Eran called out to him, 'Who are you anyway? You zero,'" according to Adi Eyewitnesses who were present at the scene. Regarding the allegation of spitting on the part of the owner, Itzik claims that he did not exist and was not created. It is better that before a person is crucified based solely on claims on the part of this or that club, real proofs should be presented - and not 'claims' that quickly turn into irresponsible headlines, as if These are the words of the living God."
