The judoka Sagi Muki lost tonight (Saturday) in the battle for the bronze medal at the Grand Prix of Portugal, in the competition that opens the competition season of 2023.
Muki, who competes in the weight category up to 81 kg, was hoping to get his first individual medal since he won the bronze medal at the European Championships in April 2021, so he came to this competition, but this time he was not up to the task when he finished in fifth place.
In the battle for the bronze, Muki met the Moldovan Mihail Latisev, last year's World Youth Champion, who in less than a minute achieved twice Vasari which brought him the victory.
