Summary: Hapoel Tel Aviv - Maccabi Tel Aviv 0:0 (Sport1)
An unusual incident occurred yesterday (Saturday) in the Tel Aviv derby, when before the game a heated argument was recorded between Hapoel Tel Aviv fans against the background of hanging the Israeli flag in the stands of the Reds.
As you know, one of the slogans that characterized Hapoel Tel Aviv was "We do not represent Israel, only Hapoel", in a message that makes it clear that the commitment is first of all to the club and only then, if at all, to the state.
This time, on the other hand, a rather heated argument was seen between fans, and in the end several men violently took down the flag that was being hung.
Following the argument, a fight even broke out between some of those present, over an argument that turned violent.
It should be noted that afterwards, a number of fans sang "El El Israel" in response to the incident.

The video provoked quite a few angry reactions online.
"What about the respect for the Israeli flag?", asked many, while others wrote "disgusting", "vomit", "shame on you", and again and again.
As you may recall, a few weeks ago the "Radio Jerusalem" broadcaster Elad Amadi referred to identical reports, that apparently Hapoel Jerusalem fans are not allowed to hang Israeli flags in the stands.
He reacted in a violent and threatening manner, and was suspended and even sued by the management of Hapoel Jerusalem.
In the game at Bloomfield, Hapoel Tel Aviv ended in a 0:0 draw against Maccabi Tel Aviv in the city battle.
