What has happened to Cristiano Ronaldo since he moved to Al Nasser in Saudi Arabia?
Piers Morgan, the footballer's friend and "closer", claims that Ronaldo "loved" his experience in Saudi Arabia, after leaving Manchester United and the Premier League in favor of football in the Middle East.
As you may remember, Ronaldo's sensational interview with Morgan was the one that upset United in October, when the striker claimed that coach Erik ten Haag had "betrayed" him, and shortly after the player and the club severed their relationship and his contract ended, which paved the way for the 37-year-old player move as a free agent.
He then signed a huge contract with Al-Nasr, becoming the highest paid footballer in football history in a controversial move.

Morgan is known to be "close" to Ronaldo, and in an interview with him he was asked what was going on with the Portuguese.
"Is he happy? Absolutely," said Morgan, "I exchanged a few messages with him, and he really likes it, on and off the field."
Ronaldo, who has yet to score for Al Nasser in two appearances, was criticized for the professional decision he made, when he gave up trying to play in Europe for the fat financial contract.
Morgan admitted that Ronaldo would have preferred to play for a team that plays in the Champions League, but defended his friend's move and choice (and along the way sent a jab at Leo Messi).

"Thanks to our high-profile interview, Ronaldo has signed the biggest transfer deal in football history and is now the highest-paid athlete in the world, at the age of 37," Morgan added.
"He is also doing what he has done throughout his career, which for me gives him an advantage over Messi - and that he is challenging himself in a new country and in a new league, at a time when football in the Middle East is really taking off, as we saw in the World Cup in Qatar where Morocco reached the semi-finals and Saudi Arabia beat champion, Messi's Argentina.
"Ideally, I think he would have preferred to play at another top club in the Champions League for a year or two, but Al Nasser has made him an amazing offer, and I think that this new challenge - to raise the profile of football in a new area of the world, in the twilight His amazing career - really attracted him."
