.: Novak Djokovic's father Srdjan apparently decided not to visit the final of the Australian Open on Sunday.
The Serbian superstar's box seat next to his mother Dijana remained empty at the Rod Laver Arena.
After his semi-final victory, Djokovic said he wanted his father to return.
He also spoke of "misinterpretations at a high level" in relation to the much-discussed photos and video recordings in front of a Russian flag.
Srdjan Djokovic "had no intention whatsoever" of "supporting any war initiatives," said the tennis professional.
His father thought he was posing with Serbian fans.
