Dani Avdia has looked good in recent games, very good.
Since Roy Hachimura's departure, the Israeli has flourished in the Washington Wizards uniform and tonight (between Saturday and Sunday) he was excellent again with 15 points and 9 rebounds, and was an important screw in his team's victory over the New Orleans Pelicans.
In the last three games Avdia has improved averages of 13.3 points, 9.7 rebounds and 2.9 steals.
The 22-year-old forward hit two critical free throws that decided the game and, in addition, drew a critical offensive foul after a successful challenge by his coach in the closing moments.
Wes Anseld Jr. said of Avdia: "His contribution was great, it is reflected in his aggressiveness when he attacks the basket and plays with power. The important thing for him is to be decisive and he has been doing that recently with better decisions. Playing with more aggressiveness. It does him and us good."

Alkai Enela, who covers the Wizards on social media, wrote on Twitter: "I wanted to see this Danny Abedia selected in the 2020 draft. He plays like a monster."
NBA reporter Zach Rosen tweeted: "Danny is released."
NBC reporter Chase Hughes also complimented the Israeli: "The speed that Danny Avdia shows here with the ball in his hands was the main reason why he was selected in the draft, it is a quite unique skill for a player of his size."
Deni Avdija always had the most potential of Tommy Shepherd's draft picks.
Since the Hachimura trade he seems to have been unleashed and is playing up to his potential and talent!
