Serbian player Novak Djokovic achieved a landslide victory today, after defeating his Greek counterpart, Stefanos Tsitsipas, in a powerful performance, thus extending his record by winning the Australian Open tennis championship for the tenth time.
The final result of the match came after the Serbian player advanced 5-0 in the tie-break in the third set, before he settled the victory with a powerful forehand strike along the line, which Tsitsipas was unable to return inside the court.
In a repeat of the 2021 French Open final, Djokovic won 6-3, 7-6, 7-6 on Rod Laver Arena, to regain the top spot in the ATP world rankings.
