After the tremendous performance against Nikola Jokic and the 119:126 victory over Denver, Joel Embiid declares: Philadelphia is built for the championship this year.
The league's king of baskets finished the top game against the reigning MVP with 47 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists, leading the Sixers to their seventh straight victory, even though they were already trailing by 15 in the last quarter.
After the play, he explained: "I think this is the best team Philly has had since I've been here. You've got James Harden in great shape, Tyrese Maxey, Tobis Harris is great, P.J. Tucker ... we've got a bunch of Players that fit each other. We'll see in the playoffs where it can go, but as far as the matchup goes, we've got everything. Everybody's a good fit for everybody. We've got scorers, we've got defenders, we've got James Harden. So I believe we have a good chance Go all the way."

Embiid is averaging 33.8 points per game this season, and recently the Sixers overtook Brooklyn and Milwaukee and placed second in the Eastern Conference, 2.5 games behind Boston, which has been faltering recently.
He believes he and his team deserve more respect.
"I'm used to it, it's not the first time," he said when asked about not being selected for the All-Star Five.
"It gives me more motivation to win the championship. It's probably the only thing that will make people respect me."
According to Embiid, "It's pretty clear that I'm not the most popular player in the league, and that's fine by me. I know it's because I like to tease a lot, and maybe because I'm a bit of a shitty person. Anyway, I'll continue to be me - I won't stop being the shit that I am, And if people don't like it, that's their problem. In the end, it all comes down to victories, and achievements."
