Munich/Odisha – Germany is the hockey world champion in 2023. The German hockey men won the final in India this Sunday against Belgium 5: 4 in a penalty shoot-out (3: 3).

The goals were scored by Niklas Wellen (29th minute), Gonzalo Peillat (41st) and Mats Grambusch (48th) after Belgium had taken a 2-0 lead.
