The two Czechs, Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova, won the Australian Open women's doubles title, the first of the four Grand Slam tournaments.
Krichikova and Siniakova succeeded in winning the crown, after defeating the two Japanese, Shako Oyama and Ina Shibahara, in two clean sets, without a response, with a score of 6/4, 6/3.
The two Czech players were previously crowned at the Australian Open last year, and they were also crowned during the Roland Garros tournaments in 2018 and 2021, Wimbledon in 2018 and 2022, and the US Open in 2022.
