It heated up at the François-Coty stadium this Sunday evening after the match between AC Ajaccio and Lyon (0-2).
A few minutes earlier, during the match, it had already been boiling on the benches between Olivier Pantaloni, the AC coach and Rémy Vercoutre, the OL goalkeeping coach.
“I will catch you.
Laurent (White), tell him that I will catch him at the end of the match”, had launched Pantaloni.
" Come now.
Come right away!
Vercoutre had replied.
At the final whistle, the handshake had already been extended between Olivier Pantaloni, quite upset, and Laurent Blanc.
The Corsican coach then refused the hand extended by his assistant Franck Passi.
Then he headed, with the will to do battle, to Rémy Vercoutre.
After several seconds of confusion and jostling, the two men were separated by other staff members and stewards.
It was even Claudio Caçapa and Ludovic Giuly, two other Laurent Blanc assistants, who calmed down and accompanied him to the locker room.
But the tension has not subsided.
Several spectators tried to enter the field, but they were contained by a cordon of stewards.
Rémy Vercoutre had to be escorted by several Lyonnais to return to the locker room.
We saw a leader or member of the staff of the ACA continue to follow him and to invective him.
But goalkeeper François Joseph Sollacaro quickly grabbed him to prevent him from going any further.
For his part, Jordan Galtier, one of Pantaloni's assistants, tried to calm the spectators.
Incredible scene at the end of this #ACAOL 😱

Some even attacked the Canal + cameraman.
The interview with Lyon captain Alexandre Lacazette also had to be cut short.
Already insulted, he received projectiles including a lighter.

The Disciplinary Committee should quickly take up these incidents.
We remember that Frédéric Antonetti, who ironically commented on this ACA-OL match for Canal +, had received several suspension matches last season after an altercation with Sylvain Armand during Lille - Metz.
