The team from the capital claims that the champion refused to increase the allocation for away audiences at the Champions League meeting ("In Holon they decided to adhere to the regulations according to which each away team is entitled to receive 5% of the capacity of the home hall") to the visiting audience contrary to the league's regulations"

After the discussions and attempts to reach a ticket arrangement that would allow as many fans of Hapoel Jerusalem and Hapoel Holon to come and watch the double match between the two clubs in the away games in the Champions League were not successful, Hapoel Jerusalem this morning (Sunday) issued the official announcement and addressed the events.

"Hapoel Jerusalem has held talks with the leaders of Hapoel Holon in recent days regarding the distribution of tickets for the upcoming matches within the Champions League.

Hapoel proposed an outline identical to what is done in the league games, where the visiting team receives 10% of the capacity of the home hall.

"Unfortunately, the management of Hapoel Holon, for its own reasons, decided to reject the proposal and adhere to the procedure that appears in the Champions League regulations according to which each foreign team is entitled to receive 5% of the capacity of the home hall. Also our other proposal, according to which Hapoel will receive 10% of the game in Holon, while Holon will receive an unlimited amount of Tickets for her fans in the game at the Arena - she was also rejected.

"Therefore, in the upcoming away game in Holon, Hapoel will receive a limited amount of only about 250 tickets. Hapoel regrets this decision by Holon, especially in light of the fact that a meeting between two Israeli teams in a European setting is a rare event, with the potential for a real basketball celebration, and as such it should have been allowed For as many fans as possible, from both sides, to participate in the experience.

On the other hand, Hapoel Holon also responded and wrote in an official statement: "In response to Hapoel Jerusalem's statement, regarding the division of tickets for the matches between the teams in the Champions League, we would like to make things accurate.

"Hapoel Holon did hold talks with the heads of Hapoel Jerusalem close to securing promotion to the top 16 regarding the manner of distribution of tickets in the upcoming matches within the Champions League. Despite an initial agreement between the parties on the allocation outline and ticket prices according to the league's regulations (10% of the hall's capacity), unfortunately, the management Jerusalem, for its own reasons, decided to withdraw from the agreement and raise the ticket prices for the visiting audience, contrary to the league regulations.

"In addition to this, our request to receive a significant allocation of tickets in the lower level to enhance the viewing experience (from the total allocation, as is customary in the State Cup) and not in the gallery on the roof of the arena, was answered in the negative. In light of this, we will adhere to the procedure that appears in the Champions League regulations according to which each foreign team is entitled to receive 5% of the capacity of the hall the home

"We tried to do our best for our fans so that they could enjoy the experience of watching in the arena, but without success. We would add and note that even at this point in time we would be happy to reciprocate and accept seats that would respect our fans."
