Giannis Antetokounmpo provided an unusual performance with 50 points (20 of 26 from the field, 3 of 4 for 3, 7 of 12 from the penalty box), along with 13 Rebounds in only 30 minutes.
The Greek Freak was five points away from his career high, and what's the wonder that on such a dominant evening, his team didn't fall behind even once.
Giannis finished the first half with 29 points and 10 rebounds, en route to his 10th game of the season with 40 or more points (as he had all of last season).
The Pelicans, who again lack Zion Williamson and this time also Brandon Ingram and C.J. McCollum, did not find solutions.
Jose Alvarado led them with 18 points, but did not prevent an eighth straight loss.
Memphis (18:32) - Indiana (28:24) 100:112
In a good and successful time, the Grizzlies broke a streak of five losses, after already finding themselves behind by double digits in the first half, but answered with a crushing second half of 38:62.
Ja Morant celebrated his third triple-double of the season - 27 points, 10 rebounds and 15 assists, Jaren Jackson Jr. led with 28 points and 5 blocks.
The Pacers, who lost for the third time in a row and the 10th in the last 11 games, got 27 points from rookie Ben Matherin.

The guest rested Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and Reggie Jackson, and paid for it when their five-game winning streak came to an end.
Donovan Mitchell returned after three games away (11 points), but the star of the game was Jedi Osman, with 29 points off the bench, including a club-high 7-for-7 from beyond the arc, on a night in which Cleveland as a whole shot 20-for-33.
Brandon Boston led the Clippers with 24 points, Amir Coffey added 18.
Charlotte (36:15) - Miami (23:28) 117:122
There were 14 lead exchanges between the teams in the first half, but after the break there was only one, in favor of Charlotte, which erased a 13-point deficit in the third quarter, on its way to coming out on top and ending Miami's three-game winning streak.
Terry Rozier led the Hornets with 31 points and 7 assists, shooting 5 of 11 for three, PJ Washington added 27 points to the Wasps' advantage, Gordon Hayward contributed 20. Jimmy Butler scored 28 and 7 for the Heat. Rebounds, Tyler Hero shot 5-of-9 for three on the way to 24 points that were not enough to prevent a loss.
