Along with Danny Abadia's record game and Washington's victory over San Antonio, seven more games took place tonight (between Monday and Tuesday) in the NBA.
In the spotlight: Luka Doncic exploded again, this time against Detroit, Steph Curry and Golden State won, and the starless Lakers lost to Brooklyn.
Dallas (25:27) - Detroit (39:13) 105:111
After sitting out the last few games with an ankle injury, Luka Doncic returned to the floor, proving just how irreplaceable his presence is.
The star of Dallas scored 53 points and led his team to a difficult victory against the Pistons.
This is his fifth career game in which he scores over 50 points.
Doncic scored 24 points in the first quarter and added 8 rebounds.
Spencer Dinwiddie finished with 12 points and a great game in the last quarter.
On the other side, Bojan Bodganovic almost spoiled the celebrations with 29 points.
Oklahoma (26:24) - Golden State (24:26) 128:120
Steph Curry exploded with 38 points, 12 assists and 8 rebounds and gave the champion only its seventh away win this season.
This performance also included 8 3-pointers.
Klay Thompson helped Curry with 28 of his own, and six 3-pointers.
On the other side, Shea Gilges Alexander finished with 31, and Josh Giddy with 21.
Brooklyn (19:31) - Los Angeles Lakers (28:23) 104:121
Without the two biggest stars, LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the Lakers visited Brooklyn tonight after the painful loss to Boston, and again left disappointed and worried about the fate of the playoffs.
Kyrie Irving stood out with 26 points for the Nets, and Patty Mills and Carmon Thomas added 21. On the other side, 18 points from Thomas Bryant and 17 from Russell Westbrook did not help.
The rest of the games:
Philadelphia (17:32) - Orlando (31:20) 119:109
Minnesota (26:27) - Sacramento (21:28) 118:111
Phoenix (25:27) - Toronto (29:23) 106:114
