Hulk Hogan's close friend revealed: "He underwent surgery and his nerves were touched, he needs to use a walking stick" • It is not clear what the extent of the damage was caused to one of the great wrestlers in the past

Not easy news.

Kurt Angle, the close friend of the former WWE legend, Hulk Hogan, revealed this week that the latter's health is deteriorating, to the extent that he has reached a state of paralysis in his lower body.

"He had surgery and his nerves were touched. He can't feel his lower body, so he has to use a walking stick," Engel said.

"I thought he was using a cane because he has pain in his back, but he has no pain, he has nothing actually, he can't feel anything."

According to reports, the 69-year-old Hogan (real name Terry Gene Boulea), underwent a certain procedure in which nerves were removed from his body.

As of this moment, no details have been provided about that surgical procedure, and it is not clear if the damage to his legs is permanent or temporary.

In fact, on Monday, Hogan shared a photo of himself standing without a cane, possibly hinting that he's on the mend.

Hogan is considered one of the greatest professional wrestlers in history and certainly one of the most famous of them.

He began his professional career in 1977 and became famous, among other things, for his participation in WWE.

He was also elected to the Hall of Fame twice - in 2005 and 2020.
