There was a medical emergency in front of the stadium during the DFB Cup match between RB Leipzig and TSG Hoffenheim.
The club announced this shortly after kick-off.
“A person had to be resuscitated at the stadium entrance before the game, was treated by an emergency doctor and taken to the hospital,” tweeted the people of Leipzig.
The vast majority of spectators gave up their support due to the incident, and there was utter silence in the stadium.
During this phase, Emil Forsberg made it 1-0 in the round of 16 (8th minute), which the fans cheered with restraint.
In the 41st minute, Konrad Laimer made it 2-0 for RB Leipzig.
