Summary: Hapoel Tel Aviv - Maccabi Tel Aviv 0:0 (Sport1)

The Romanian winger, Rarsh Ilia, landed in Israel in preparation for joining Maccabi Tel Aviv from Nice.

The 19-year-old Ilya started this season in the two games of the French team against the Yellows in the Conference League qualifiers.

The Romanian's preferred position is on the left wing, but he can also be deployed as an attacking midfielder.

19-year-old Ilya grew up in Rapid Bucharest and reached her senior level at the age of 17 and 4 months when she played in the minor league in Romania.

He helped her get promoted and the next season, when he was only 18 years old, he scored 6 goals and 10 assists in the top league in Romania.

The high ability combined with his young age caused quite a few scouts in Europe to pay attention to Ilya and last summer he was sold to Nice for 5 million euros.

Watch Ilya's performance

Ilya was part of the Romanian under-19 team that played in the European Championship where Israel qualified to the finals and he also has an appearance against Ofir Haim's team in a friendly match in 2021, in which Romania won 0:2.

He accumulated 10 appearances in the youth team and made one appearance in the junior team.
