Kazuyoshi "King Kazu" from Japan's Yura, joined Olivaresana from the Portuguese second division • What's so special? Not much, he is only 55 years old

What do you say, does he have a future?

Kazuyoshi "King Kazu" of the Japanese shooter, who is considered the oldest active professional soccer player in the world, signed today (Wednesday) with Olivaresa from the second division in Portugal - at the age of 55 (!).

Miura, moved to the Portuguese club on loan from the Japanese Yokohama until the end of the season.

"I'm going to make an effort so that people can see me playing my kind of football, even in a new environment," said Miura, who will turn 56 at the end of the month, after signing.

He started his professional career from Yura at the age of 15, and in 1986. Portugal will be the fifth foreign country in which he will play, after having spent the years in Brazil, Italy, Croatia and Australia.

How crazy his story is, will be evidenced for example by the fact that the endless Japanese played with Brazilian legends of the past Donga, Sampaio and Socrates.

55-year-old Kazuyoshi Miura has signed a loan deal with Portuguese second-tier side Oliveirense.
