Maccabi Tel Aviv left Valencia this evening (Thursday) with an important away victory 93:94 and achieved its third away victory of the season in the Euroleague which returned it to a positive balance.
Maccabi Tel Aviv's coach, Oded Ketch, summed up the game:
"We played against a team that plays at a very high pace. In the first half there was a lot of frustration, they scored at a very high percentage. We talked at halftime about the importance of staying together and not breaking up because we realized that we can do it." .
"I'm happy with the character we showed, we went into halftime in a bad mental state, but we talked about it at halftime and promised ourselves that we would stay together. John DiBartholomew and Bonzie Coulson have been big for us all season. Let's hope that Lorenzo Brown's return next week will help some."
